TM 110.03 Supplementary Kit Gear Systems Show data sheet (pdf file) Print page
Technical Description

With this supplementary set (available with the TM 110) the specific function and operating mode of gear trains can be visualised. The transmission ratio of the revolutions and moments are clearly explained on single- and multistage gearings. The effect of intermediate wheels is also shown. The experiments can be quickly restructured since the required components need only to be pressed together. An aluminum sectional rail is used as the basic element. It is attached to the sheet of TM 110 with quick-fastening clips. The flexibility of the parts set makes it well suited for demonstrational use. It also continues to provide the same advantages of TM 110.

Learning Objectives / Experiments

- Transmission ratio of speed and moment on a single-stage gearing
- Effect of intermediate wheels on direction of rotation
- Transmission ratio of speed and moment on two-stage gearing
